Do Protein Supplements Burn Fat? - September 10th, 2009

For those of you out there that want to gain lean muscle mass, protein supplements may be exactly what you need. If you want to build muscle then protein is a must. It helps to repair strained muscle and rejuvenate it as well. There are a lot of people out there that don’t like to swallow pills. If you’re one of them, you can always turn to protein supplement shakes and powders. There are whey isolate protein shakes, whey concentrate and even egg and soy shakes.

I love the chocolate flavored whey isolate protein powder because I can make it into a shake and add a banana. I’ve found that a lot of the body builders out there turn to protein supplements and protein shakes. I don’t particularly like eatingĀ  a lot of red meat, so I’ll turn to the protein powders whenever possible. Because there are so many different products out there you should look for the powder that has the right amount of protein, carbs, and fat. If you still can’t make up your mind, check with a nutritionist or if you have a friend that is in to body building that would be a great resource as well.
