Trimspa - September 13th, 2009

Trimspa is probably most popular because it was used by Anna Nicole Smith. She used to be the spokesperson for this weight loss pill. I wasn’t very familiar with this product so I did some digging and found out that the product used to contain ephedra, but was changed so that it is now ephedra-free. There isn’t currently a list of ingredients for Trimspa, but what it is known to contain is green tea extract. A lot of people start getting cravings for different foods in the afternoon and so if they were taking Trimspa they would pop a pill to help curb their appetite.

Unfortunately because it contains caffeine and other ingredients like hoodia gordonii it would cause people to experience insomnia, anxiety, palpitations and restlessness. I hate it when I take anything that causes me to experience those symptoms. That is why I try and stay away from coffee, or anything that has caffeine in it. In some people migraine headaches were a problem. Because Trimspa contains glucosamine, people that are allergic to shellfish should not take this product. Glucomannan is considered a bulk-forming laxative and has a tendency to expand in the stomach thereby reducing the appetite by creating a feeling of fullness. I’m kind of on the fence with this supplement after everything I’ve read.
