Vitamins For Weight Loss - September 9th, 2009

Have you ever asked yourself why there are so many diet supplements out there? The first thing that comes to my mind when I ask that question is we supplement our diets with vitamins and minerals because we are too lazy finding and eating the foods richest in those things. Instead of eating the amount of fruits and vegetables needed to get that vitamin C or D or E, we reach for the bottle that we have bought at the local health food store that contains those supplements.

We definitely live in a time where we feel rushed, stressed out and overworked. I think it would be better to take some time out of our busy schedules to prepare foods that are nutritious and healthy. That way you don’t have to spend money on those high priced vitamin supplements. Same goes for diet supplements, instead of buying fat burners, appetite suppressants, and diet pills, why not try and exercise more, drink more water, and just plain eat more healthy. I’m not condoning diet supplements or vitamin supplements, I just think the more natural way is the better way. It is easier for the body to digest food than hard packed supplements.
